Stop the Trolley on Marco Island!
Here is the current status. The trolley / bus has been approved in the budget, but it is not approved until they get a proposal from CAT and vote on that. You can still make your voice heard! Even if they reach agreement with CAT, the new Council can still kill it. That said, even then, I am not sure it is legal according to our land use codes and ADA compliance. Time to get rid of Blonna and Irwin!

The gang of 4, Grifoni, Blonna, Palumbo and Irwin keep doubling down on this bad idea! Grifoni is out in November and Blonna and Irwin are up for re-election. We need to get rid of Blonna and Irwin and elect candidates that will remove the trolley from the 2025 budget!

Traffic Disruption and Accident Creation Service
The Trolley will hold up traffic while riders get on and off! Traffic is bad enough in season already, now picture being stuck behind a bus while it makes multiple stops! It will cause accidents as cars try to get around it while waiting. Also, it is not really a trolley, it is a regular bus!
No Public Transportation Program pays for itself!
This will be a drain on our resources. I believe in investing in things for Marco Island residents, not in wasting money on people that do not live here! Do not waste $200K of my tax dollars on a pilot!
We do not need public transportation on Marco
This is not for residents, it is about connecting to the transportation hub in Naples to bring even more people to Marco! The 2021 plan included an express bus to Marco Island from the main transportation hub in Naples. I would assume that is the next step if they get away with this Fiasco! Even before they do this, it will cause a mess! If this was really about doing something positive for the residents, they would have commissioned a traffic study first!
